Business Marketing Certificate Program

Santa Rosa Junior College

Business:  Marketing Certificate (12 Units)

Are you curious about what makes people tick?  Do you relish trying out new ideas? Are you fascinated by new products?  Does new technology make your heart race? Are you a sucker for a good story?  Can you write copy that’s better than this brochure?

Marketing could be the career path for you.

Marketers find new ways to sell existing products, create new markets and products, and make their customers smile.  They can work in the marketing departments of established companies or non-profits, run their own marketing or advertising companies, or create their own products and sell them.

A certificate in marketing from SRJC can help you get an internship with a local business or non-profit, prepare you for further studies at a four-year college, help you be the smartest marketing person at work, or help you successfully launch your own business.  And it will be fun.

SJRC Instructors come from the business world and they know what works.   They also know that ethically and sustainably run businesses can be powerful forces for good in the community

The certificate combines a core of essential marketing strategy with up-to-the minute skills.  We designed it to be completed in as few as two semesters.

Upon completion of the Marketing Certificate, students are encouraged to seek out internships through SRJC’s Work Experience department (Lauralyn Larsen).
